Application and admission

The master program always starts in the winter semester with courses beginning at the end of September.

Students must have a technical bachelor's or diploma degree with a grade of 2.5 or better (German grading system), which is in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronic engineering, physics, physical technology, material sciences, computer sciences, or equivalent.

Be sure to read all information concerning the requirements before starting your application. Please note that there are different application procedures:

• Students who graduated from a German or Danish university
• Students who graduated outside of Germany or Denmark

The application periods depend on where the first degree was obtained:

• Germany: May 1st - August 31st
• Europe: January 1st - August 31st
• International: January 1st - May 1st
